We at Geekalicious would like to thank you for being a part of our community and we hope you’ve been enjoying our events.
As you may or may not know, for groups to exist on Meetup.com, they must pay a monthly fee otherwise they will be shut down by Meetup. For the last 8 years, Geekalicious has been paid for by the organization team. However, due to some recent changes to our situation, the organization team is no longer able to cover all the costs of the group.
So what does this mean for Geekalicious? We intend to continue with the group for as long as possible. But, we do need help in paying our expenses so we can continue bringing you wacky and fun events!
Here is how you can help: Buy us a coffee or three! This can be a one time thing or monthly donation.
All the money goes to maintaining Geekalicious and towards possible expenses incurred by our events (such as prizes).
