This is Lucy. She is wonderful. She shy, but oh she hunt. We are deeply attached. She likes to be petted while she eats and dislikes my going anywhere.
This is Talon. He’s a Russian Blue. He got lost several years ago in August. This was the year we got freezing rain as well. In February someone used the vet number on his tag to report they’d found him. I got the address and stalked the outside of their place for about a day. The caller said they thought that cat was abandoned, so I wanted to be there before he found a new owner. He came back several sizes bigger then when he left, I in fact got a talking to about how tight his collar was (well he wasn’t that big before!) Alls well that ends well. If he’s not trying to sneak outside for the night he spends it in my bed. Hates that we’ve locked off the room with the couch he loves to destroy.
