I was never a nerd (nerds got good grades) but I was a geek because I took the geek test and aced the technology section plus some sci-fi-fant.
RANT: I knew an idiot who called herself a "freak"about a subject. “I’m a pony freak!” I was like, “You’re just a female Brony. Try enjoying a show legally for once if you support it.” Then she wanted to go with me to meetings. This involved massive special accommodations for her that limited the groups options down to two and one of them was just for Christmas or the special occasion brunch that had food on sale. Guess who then won’t show because she “forgot” to plug in her scooter overnight? In other words, she was “broke” and no one would pay her way. She always had the very latest cellphone and the newest video game consoles that she payed through the nose to have hacked and get access to the hacker’s library of games. She had a hacked 3DS with 86(?) games on it and gave me shit for playing $10 used for an extremely popular game, that had the Sudoku I really was after plus a bunch of other games that were unlock-able and I DID NOT get the sequel that was also used but more money. She showed me the ROMs for both the games and she had logged a lot of time considering “she just got the system.” She claimed what I had done “was a waste of money” compared to the $400 hack plus the brand-new hand held console system she had. My regular DS was purchased used and all the games used. Advanced games stick up its butt and can be integrated with each other. Haven’t broken $200. Heaven Knows what she spent for the regular DS. I have a 3DS now but 3 games, one was new just an unopened trade, old DS games work in it and replacing the darn styluses has come to buying cheap proper chopsticks. The system was a gift after someone upgraded. I didn’t touch it until I found a worthy 3D game, I can’t see 3D, I have to turn it off. Cheap accessories however, I have a ton. Plastic folders to hold games, yes, I bought a thrift hello kitty bag, yes, pencil case to hold chargers, yes, Adv. games loose in a bag for the original, yes, strong, throw against the wall case for the 3DS that was designed for tools that was $5, yes!
