Do you guys still own old media, media you probably don’t see much anymore? I have old VHS tapes yet, as well as DVDs, CDs, laserdiscs, records, and more. What about you? Do you guys still ever watch movies and shows via VHS? Or maybe you still listen to CDs or records?

I have this giant floppy disk from the bygone age hanging on my wall.

There’s a quarter tape to it for a size comparison.

16BitMiker I had a set of floppy disks that I think I threw away. I think they were for the commodore 64. I regret doing it though, as even though I couldn’t use them (C64 was dead), I still think someone could have used them. Or I could have kept them for later if i ever got c64 again.

Anyway, I have some VHS tapes in my closet, along with my DVD/bluray collection.

Watched some slice-of-life anime on VHS last year and the VCR still works. Still have tons of old VHS tapes, DVDS, CDS lying around and I still watch/listen when I can.

My dad likes to keep some floppy disks around, and we have 2-3 betamax tapes lying around in the family home.

I have a huge collection of physical PC games, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox and Xbox 360 games. I got the original Castle Wallenstein games laying around.

No beta tapes, no 8 tracks, only Nintendo, Sega or Atari cartridges, no mini player formats, no 8″ floppies, no HDDVDs and I think the last roll of unprocessed film is expired.

I’ve got EVERYTHING else. Friggin magnetic tapes with backups too. If it existed after 1980 and it had quality, I have it.
